Dear Parents & Carers,
Year 7 Parents’ and Carers’ Consultation Evening
Following the correspondence sent out previously regarding our upcoming Year 7 Parents’ and Carers’ Consultation evening, we have been made aware of a number of issues in trying to book appointments.
After further investigation and careful consideration, we have made the decision to reset all appointments and reopen the booking system. Although the errors were the result of a technical failure within our external system, nonetheless I wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Please note: appointments can be made from 09:30am on Monday 4th March and will close at 17:00 on Wednesday 6th March. Please do not attempt to book appointments earlier than the advertised date.
As stated previously, although we would wish for all parents and carers to have the opportunity to consult with every single one of their children’s teachers, we also recognise that certain members of staff see a large number of year 7 students, and that it is not always possible, therefore, for them to meet with everybody. If you do wish to speak to a particular teacher who is not available, please do email them so that this can be arranged for another time.
Please be mindful that there is no parking available on site and all those attending are encouraged to travel by public transport. If you choose to drive and park nearby, please respect our neighbours by parking safely on adjacent roads.
We expect a high number of parents and carers to attend, so please respect the 5 minute appointment slots and move swiftly between meetings so that everyone has the opportunity to meet with their child’s teachers.
Please note that if you have any second-hand uniform that is no longer of the right size for your child, please do bring this along; our student government is leading a sustainability initiative and will ensure this goes to good use.
Yours faithfully,
Mr D Morrison | Deputy Principal
