Our founding students are an exceptional group of young people and it was a huge privilege for the LAB community to celebrate their GCSE and vocational results in the summer break. Undeterred by the challenges of recent years, this ambitious cohort showed great resilience and huge determination to succeed. There have been some fantastic personal achievements recognised in the grades awarded and, collectively, they have given the academy a fantastic first set of formal examination results.
We are delighted to welcome so many of our founders back to LAB16, and wish them all the very best as they embark on their IB Diploma and Careers Related Programmes. We look forward to the summer of 2028, when we will be celebrating the GCSE results of our new year 7 cohort who joined us this September!
