Dear Parents/Carers,
The Language & Literature, Performing Arts, and Visual Arts & Design Departments would like to invite you to attend the Summer Exhibition and Showcase on Wednesday 12th July (4:15pm- 6:30pm).
This event is for our Year 7-9 students to show off their efforts from a range of projects and events over the course of the academic year including in our annual LAB Lit Fest!
The event will begin at 4:15pm with a self-guided exhibition in our Activity Studio that will show a range of works including: MYP Community Projects; KS3 Design pieces; Art competition pieces and response from the LAB Lit Fest (taking place 10th-12th of July).
This is followed by a live Showcase in our Theatre which will include a set of performances from Music, Drama and LAB Lit Fest. Please note, the showcase will be a ticketed event with doors opening at 5:00pm and finishing at approximately 6:30pm.
Students who are taking part will be required to stay on site on the day to rehearse from
2:15pm – 4:15pm. Participating students will need to wear their full school uniform (unless specifically told otherwise).
Showcase tickets are £1.50 per person and can be purchased via our ticket platform Eventbrite here.
Ticket sales will be used to support future LAB extra-curricular activities.
