Year 9 Chromebook Exchange – 26th January 2023

Wide-pan view of outside area with some students walking through, some sitting, some chatting in groups

Dear Parent/Carers,

We will be replacing all Year 9 Chromebooks before the February half term which will require your child to exchange their current device and charger for a new chromebook and charger.

The exchange of devices will take place on Tuesday 31st January.

The following actions must be completed to ensure your child receives their new device, if these are not completed in full your child will not be able to receive their new chromebook.

  1. Your child must bring their chromebook and charger to the academy on Tuesday 31st January.
Devices which are currently being repaired will be retained by the academy on their return, and your child will receive a replacement device if they return their charger to the academy.
A copy of the new loan agreement will need to be signed and returned when exchanging the chromebook – A copy is attached to this letter and a paper copy has been given to your child in tutor time today.
  2. Under the loan agreement, chargers are the responsibility of the parent/carer. If the charger assigned to your child’s device with the loan has been lost or damaged, you will need to purchase a replacement

We recommend that your child has a chromebook cover to keep their chromebook protected and avoid any damages.
