We are delighted for the students that are reaching the high standards needed to gain a Bronze or a Silver award and we are looking forward to celebrating with them at the end of this module.
The criteria for a student to gain a Bronze award is to have 100+ merits, at least 96% attendance, to have three or fewer late marks, fewer than 20 demerits and no, supervisions, suspensions or directions off-site.
The students who achieved a Bronze award in module 2, are now eligible for a Silver award for maintaining the standards shown for a Bronze award and gaining another 100+ merits.
Those students who gain a Silver award in this module are eligible for a Gold award in module 6, again for maintaining the high standards of at least 96% attendance, to have three or fewer late marks, fewer than 20 demerits and no, supervisions, suspensions or directions off-site as well as another 100+ merits.

The National Year of Reading 2026 is a UK-wide campaign designed to help more people rediscover the joy of reading. We are encouraging students to connect reading with their passions and culture. To support this, there are several competitions that students can participate in and I would like to encourage you to check out the upcoming local events taking place for Deptford Literature Festival.
