LAB Letter Image

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are pleased to inform you that, as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting students in making informed decisions about their future, all Year 9 students will take part in a single careers advisory session during the week beginning 12 January 2026. Each student will attend one one hour session delivered by a qualified Level 6 careers adviser in a small group of approximately ten students. The session will be interactive and supportive, giving students the opportunity to ask questions, take part in guided activities, and reflect on their interests, strengths, and possible future pathways.

These sessions are designed to help students:

  • Understand how to make informed and realistic decisions about future education and career options
  • Gain insight into the labour market and the range of opportunities available to them Early engagement with careers guidance is an important step in helping students build confidence and make thoughtful choices as they progress through their education.

This session also supports our wider careers programme and our commitment to meeting the Gatsby Benchmarks. If you have any questions or would like further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for your continued support.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Oliver Hughes
