We will be hosting intervention sessions for Year 11 and Year 13 students next week. If your child has been invited, a bespoke plan is now available for you to view via MCAS.
As outlined in the letter sent to parents, in the week after Easter Holiday on Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th April Year 9 students will sit assessment in English, Maths and Science. As stated in the letter these assessments should not be a source of anxiety for your child. We are merely completing normal Year 9 assessments in the Theatre in a GCSE setup to give them a first experience of formal examination arrangements. Our popular and rewarding Film Making Club is back! Local Film Making school ‘Sparxs Film’s’ will return to the academy starting on Wednesday 6th May, with the final session running on Wednesday 1st July. The club consists of students learning various film making techniques, then writing, directing, starring in and editing their very own film! Please ask your child to complete the attached Google form if they would like to take part.
