Grease the Musical - ACTION REQUIRED

Our talented students are bringing Grease to life with show‑stopping songs, fun choreography and a whole lot of school spirit!

Acceptable use of Technology Policy - Parent/Carers ACTION REQUIRED

Please find attached our updated Acceptable Use of Technology Policy. We kindly request that you review the document in its entirety and confirm your agreement by completing the attached Google Form. Thank you to all those who have taken the time to complete this already.

Year 11 - Early morning independent study

To support all year 11 students as they approach their GCSE exams, the academy will be open from 7.45 am daily so that they can access their college area for independent study. If your child would like to take up this opportunity, please contact college teams to let them know.

GCSE Summer Examination Timetable and Year 11 Mock Examinations

We are pleased to inform you that our GCSE examination timetable for Summer 2026 is now live on our school website. We recommend taking a few moments to review the schedule with your child to help them begin planning their revision and final preparations. You can access the timetable here.
The final set of Year 11 Mock Examinations will take place the week after half term.The timetable for these examinations is available here.

Year 10 - Careers Programme

Next week as part of our ongoing careers programme, Year 10 students will take part in a one-hour interview skills session hosted by Year 12 students. The session will involve a structured interview-style interaction and a dive into skills needed to be successful in an interview. This activity supports students’ preparation for future pathways, including work experience, further education and employment.

Thank you for your ongoing support with attendance and punctuality so that our students don’t miss out on learning.

95% attendance equates to 39 missed lessons
90% attendance equates to 77 missed lessons
85% attendance equates to 115 missed lessons
80% attendance equates to 154 missed lessons

It’s important for students to arrive in school by 8.25am and be in class ready for learning by 8.30am.
