Dear Parent[s]/Carer[s],
As you are already aware we are transitioning to the new LAT 1:1 device scheme. All students will receive their new Chromebook at the start of the new academic year, September 2025. All students must return their current device and charger. The return of devices will take place on Friday 11th July.
The following actions must be completed to ensure your child receives their new device, if these are not completed in full, your child will not be able to receive their new Chromebook.
- Your child must bring their Chromebook and charger to the academy on Friday 11th July.
- If the device is already being repaired it will be retained by the academy and your child will need to return their charger on Friday 11th July to be able to receive a new device in September 2025.
- Please complete the 1:1 device scheme portal link that was previously shared.
If the charger assigned to your child’s device has been lost or damaged, you will need to purchase a replacement, which can be bought from Amazon or any electronics store for approximately £10.
