Dear Parents and Carers,
We would like to invite you to attend our Options Evening on Wednesday 22nd March from 17:00 – 19:00.
This is an important evening which will provide you and your child with an opportunity to meet with staff to discuss the structure, requirements and content of each KS4 course available from September. Student representatives from years 10 and 11 will also be on hand to answer any questions you or your child may have.
During the evening, you will have the opportunity to attend a brief presentation (at both 17:00 and 18:00) outlining the Options process, alongside the implications of this for your child in terms of both further education and future careers.
For more information about this process, as well as the contents of each course offered, please see our Options booklet here.
Please note that detailed information regarding the contents of both our KS3 and KS4 curriculum can be found on our website here.
Please also see below a message from our student government:
“Dear Parents and Carers,
The community section of the LAB student government will be present at the Options evening to sell second hand LAB uniforms at a discounted price. If you would like to purchase any items, this can be done via ParentPay. Alternatively, if you would like to donate any items of clothing, these would be gratefully received.
We look forward to seeing you on Open Evening.”
Finally, please be mindful that there is no parking available on site and all those attending are encouraged to travel by public transport. If you choose to drive and park nearby, please respect our neighbours by parking safely on adjacent roads.
Best wishes,
Mr D Morrison
Deputy Principal
