Across Thursday 23rd June and Friday 24th June, Leigh Academy Blackheath will be hosting LAB Literacy Festival. The event is a chance for students to delve into how literacy affects a range of subjects and can positively impact our day to day lives. The two days will involve a combination of in-school workshops and trips. We hope that your child will be happy and able to attend both events. Their schedule is:

Please complete the attached google form found here to confirm your child will be attending by Monday 13th June. Please note that if you have more than one child at the school, you will need to complete a separate form for each child.
Uniform & Item List
Full school uniform is compulsory for both activities taking place onsite and off site. Please ensure your child brings the following:
- Sensible weather preparation (e.g. umbrella, sun cream)
- Plenty of water
- A pen
- Medication (e.g asthma inhaler/auto injectors)
- Packed lunch (if your child is entitled to free school meals, lunch will be provided)
